Your request for an accredited report is assessed according to whether the requested test is included in our current scope of accreditation, and you are informed at the quotation stage. For the current scope, see the Accreditation and Authorisations page.

Sample receipt, return and disposal

Test items are delivered by you; our laboratory does not carry out sampling within the scope of accreditation. Each sample received is checked for consistency with the request, sufficient quantity and size, transport damage, required accessories and documents (user manual, circuit diagram, gas adjustment information) and whether it can be tested safely.

  • A sample unsuitable for testing is rejected with a stated reason.
  • A sample with deviations is conditionally accepted at your request; the deviation is stated in the report.
  • The relevant test is not started until missing documents or accessories have been provided.
  • Your preference for return or disposal after testing is recorded at application; your consent for destructive tests is obtained in the contract.

Report and decision rule

Our reports include the method and standard applied, the results with their units, the measurement uncertainty where applicable and, where a statement of conformity is to be made, the decision rule applied. Each report is reviewed and approved by an authorised person other than the staff member who performed the test.

The decision rule is explained to you before the contract. Where the standard or legislation does not specify a rule and no other agreement exists, simple acceptance applies. Details: Decision rule and measurement uncertainty.

Reports may be issued in Turkish, English or bilingual form; they are delivered electronically (PDF), by hand or by courier.

On-site testing

For products that cannot be transported, testing can be carried out at your facility. Feasibility is assessed first: applicability of the method on site, environmental conditions, equipment, energy and infrastructure, safety and the condition of the sample. If the conditions cannot be met, on-site testing is not carried out and you are informed of the reason. The on-site test report states the location, environmental conditions and any deviations.
